Considered by many in the community as a treasure, the Johnson County Center for the Arts offers a place for local artists to expound on their craft and display and sell their artwork. While that is one important aspect of the center’s work, perhaps even further reaching into the community is the time the center has devoted to cultivating the love of art for the next generation.
In an effort to reach the youngest Johnson Countians, the Center recently revamped its beloved Maker Space, a special area stocked full of art supplies where visitors are invited to sit and create.
