POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of the Trade and Engineering Instructor is to provide instruction in an array of vocational subjects such as wood and metal working, robotics, computer technology, and technology application. For 7th grade, application of these skills is achieved through an introductory, traditional “shop” class. For 8th grade, students are enrolled in an “Intro to Engineering” class that encompasses a number of Project Lead the Way units of study. Implements curriculum that emphasizes hands-on experiences in STEM.
