At the December 15, 2020 Board Meeting held via Zoom, the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District (LVJUSD) introduced two new Board Members to the Livermore Community. Yanira Guzman and Kristie Wang took the oath of office and began their service on the LVJUSD School Board of Education for the next four years. Both new Board members are parents of LVJUSD students and bring a wealth of educational and professional experience to their new roles as Trustees.
Yanira Guzman has over 8 years experience as a Spanish bilingual teacher and literacy coach in California’s public elementary schools, in both urban and affluent school districts.
