If you’ve been to Viva CalleSJ, you’ll enjoy Viva EscuelaSJ! Viva EscuelaSJ looked a lot like a mini-Viva CalleSJ, with games, educational activities, and community partners offering information about their family-friendly programs.
The Walk n’ Roll program has hosted its second annual Viva EscuelaSJ! Horace Mann, Cherrywood, and Trace Elementary School joined our kick off for International Walk to School Day. During Viva EscuelaSJ, the streets surrounding the school will be closed off to cars in the morning so students can use the road without worrying about traffic. This encouraged and provided students and their parents an opportunity to walk and/ bike to school safely.
