A mom who made 200 cards to thank the nurses who gave care to her child. A dad who made t-shirts for his kids, who were selling lemonade at a festival. A man who used the 3D printer to engineer the perfect pool ball rack. These are just a few of the projects created in the Tualatin Library Makerspace. Since it opened last fall, the Makerspace has seen more than a thousand visits from creative community members. All of these activities are possible because of the Tualatin Library Foundation’s financial support to make the Makerspace a reality.
