HUNTERDON COUNTY, NJ – The Hunterdon County Library System is pursuing grant funding and hiring professionals in its pursuit of several capital and programmatic goals developed to better serve visitors, from expanding its WiFi signal outdoors around the headquarters to progress on interior upgrades inside the two large county libraries.
County Commissioner Zach Rich discussed HCL’s recent grant application for mini-grant funds of $6,500 from the federal CARES Act, with an application process through the New Jersey State Library and Institute of Museum and Library Services. The funds will be used to install high-speed internet access and WiFi at the Rt. 12 County complex’s Hunterdon County Library main branch in Raritan Township, in the outdoor areas surrounding the library building including seating at picnic tables and adjacent in the parking lots.
