$53M Courthouse Lofts in Worcester set to open doors to residents

Work continues outside the former courthouse where residents will move in later this month.

WORCESTER – The first residents of Courthouse Lofts are expected to begin moving in and occupying the new 118-unit, transformed former Worcester County Courthouse, by the middle of this month.

The $53 million, mixed-income housing project, which includes premium studio, 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom units, each integrating historic details and modern amenities, is a key piece in the revitalization of the city’s Lincoln Square district.

Residents will begin moving into the Courthouse Lofts this month.

“We think we are offering new renters and relocating professionals one of the most exciting lifestyle opportunities in New England right now with Courthouse Lofts,” said Trinity Financial Vice President of Development Michael Lozano, who is leading the redevelopment of the property. “A lot has changed during the very challenging year that was 2020 – including the workstyle and living arrangements for many people.”
