KENNETT SQUARE — A decades-long dream came true on State Street Thursday morning. Ground was broken on the 31,000 square foot state-of-the-art, $20 million dollar Kennett Library and Resource Center that officials hope will increase the quality of life in Southern Chester County.
“This board has been working for 20 years for this momentous day,” said Library Board President Jeff Yetter who quickly corrected himself. “I was just informed by our attorney that it has been 30 years that he has been working to get this done.”
