A Weekend in Norfolk returns for the eighth time Aug. 4.
The townwide celebration provides something for every taste, from hiking mountain trails to chamber concerts at Yale Music Shed, to art shows and fun for kids.
Visitors can even view the official “baptism” of Norfolk Volunteer Fire Department’s new tanker truck in a “Wetting Down” ceremony that will draw fire crews from throughout the region.
The event opens on the afternoon of Aug. 4 and continues through Aug. 6.
