STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The Noble Maritime Collection will present the 32nd annual John A. Noble Art Auction as an online event on Saturday to support the museum’s exhibitions and programs for students and the broader public.
The annual art auction, a Staten Island tradition, will be held as a virtual fundraiser during the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. at noble.givesmart.com. And 100% of the proceeds go directly back into the museum’s operations.
“Our first thoughts are with the community we serve,” said Ciro Galeno, Jr., the collection’s executive director. “Like so many families and businesses, both locally and across the country, the museum is facing financial hardship. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we are optimistic that this year’s auction will see us through these uncertain times.”
