The 11-story Oaklyn complex in Oakland Park, Florida, developed by local real estate firm Newrock Partners, is an asymmetrical assemblage of buildings made to fit a mid-century modern aesthetic. It winds around the edges of two existing bank properties also owned by Newrock, replacing a previous office complex, and flanks the intersection of two major roadways — North Federal Highway and East Oakland Park Boulevard — a short distance from Lauderdale Beach and the Atlantic Ocean waterfront.
