The Carroll Public Library kicked off its summer reading program on Monday, with the celebration starting with a bubble blowing party in the front yard, said Summer Program Director Melissa Villy.
For those who love reading and want to make the most of their summer in Carroll, the library is hosting numerous events for the public to improve their literacy and have fun while doing it. Open to all ages, the summer reading program boasts activities including button making, movie nights, community reading days and exploding art.
Every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, there will be events for all age groups to spend time in the makerspace and engage with the community.
