A Research Associate position is available in the Department of Engineering, King’s College London to work under the guidance of Professor Jian S Dai in the EPSRC funded project REST: Reconfigurable lower limb Exoskeleton for effective Stroke Treatment in residential settings.
This position takes the responsibility of design, optimisation and advanced control in developing an exoskeleton for lower limb rehabilitation for stroke patient recovery. The candidate needs a strong background in theoretical kinematics, dynamics, design and mechatronics, with locomotion control and Lyapunov stability analysis skills and should work in a team by collaborating with other universities and hospitals in developing the exoskeleton and in working on papers and reports for the development and for solving the scientific issues.
