LEOMINSTER — Tween library patrons now have a special area dedicated solely to their age bracket and a new Tween Advisory Group was recently formed to give young adults ages 9 to 12 a voice when it comes to the kind of programs and activities they want to see at the library.
“We are really looking forward to getting everyone together for our first meeting,” said Children’s Library Associate Renee Wheeler, adding that they have 12 tweens signed up so far for the group that will be launching in the next few weeks.
The tween area is in the Dr. Martin T. Feldman Children’s Room, located at the direct opposite end from the preschool area, and features a unique wall space designed for tweens…
