SUNDERLAND — The Bennington-Rutland Supervisory Union held a workshop on Wednesday evening to hear the public’s opinions and priorities for a proposed new middle school in the Taconic & Green Regional School District.
More than 30 people, including a handful of T&G School Board members, were present for the meeting that was conducted via Zoom. The community engagement phase is just one step in a series for the project that has been considered for years, but has seen more movement in the past six months, as BRSU Superintendent Randi Lowe has gathered stakeholders and educators for multiple meetings to assess the current state of the district and what’s still needed.
