CHAPPAQUA, NY — The learning center and creative space that has taken Manhattan and the Sound Shore by storm will soon open its newest outpost downtown.
MakeInspires’ latest ‘Makerspace’ location will open soon on S. Greeley Ave. in Chappaqua. MakeInspires will be the first public makerspace in Northern Westchester, offering kids in grades K-12 the chance to learn new skills and explore their tech passions.
The Chappaqua location will open its doors for tours on September 5 and classes will begin on September 19, according to company officials.
In case you were wondering, a makerspace is a collaborative workspace filled with creative tools such as computers, robots, electronics, 3D printers and woodworking tools.
