POULTNEY — With support from a Vermont Department of Health “Quick Build” grant, Poultney has installed three new benches, an informational kiosk and a bike repair station along its D&H Rail Trail.
The benches, with donated material by REclaimED Makerspace and local slate bases by Taran Brothers Slate Co., are at the Bentley Avenue parking lot, and behind the former Village Firehouse, 98 Depot St.
The kiosk features a map noting access points, destinations, other area trail networks, and space to host information about local events or recreational assets.
The bike repair station is behind the former Village Firehouse, public parking is available at this location.
