Qatar National Library’s (QNL) catalogue of events during March began with International Women’s Day, with a programme that discussed significant speeches by Qatar Foundation (QF) chairperson Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser.
The speeches are about some of the most pressing issues facing Qatar and the world, including QF’s role in supporting the United Nation’s sustainable development goals and Qatar National Vision 2030.
On Wednesday, students, researchers, scholars and those interested in Arab heritage joined QNL’s manuscript specialist, Mahmoud Zaki, for a practical workshop to learn how to search for Arabic manuscripts and choose the right one to study.
Parents and children can join QNL’s Online Storytime for Children every Monday during March. Children’s librarians will read stories and help children come up with their own original tales.
