Thank you to all who attended, volunteered, or donated to the Second Annual Whoopie Pie Festival on Sept. 16 in downtown Rutland.
Throughout the day, as many as 5,000 people visited the downtown event. The star of the show was Dream Maker Bakers’ 770-pound whoopie pie, which was skillfully crafted and weighed in front of a large crowd. The panel of judges voted Inspired Cookies’ gluten-free whoopie pie as the “Overall Best” and “Most Creative.” The Gettin’ Place won “People’s Choice” for the second year in a row.
This year, we extended the event to include a Merchants Row and Center Street. Come Alive Outside…
