ROCKY RIVER, Ohio — Looking for something peaceful to try indoors? West Shore Unitarian Universalist Church invites the community to experience its indoor labyrinth.
For those unfamiliar with them, labyrinths are used as walking meditations to focus the mind and put the walker in tune with a spiritual reality greater than themselves, according to church members. Typically, labyrinths are circular, with a singular meditative path leading to a center.
Those who want to experience the labyrinth are invited to drop in at the church from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday (Feb. 19). There is no cost. The Labyrinth Walk is open to the community in the church’s Baker Hall, 20401 Hilliard Blvd. in Rocky River. Reservations are not required.
Two additional Indoor Community Labyrinth Walks are planned for 2 to 5 p.m. March 19 and April 16 at the church.
