Local high school foundation pushing for updated media center

A local school foundation is urging the School District of Palm Beach County School Board to allocate funds for a new media center, which foundation members say will help reduce inequities at the school.The William T. Dwyer High School media center has never been updated and the school was built in 1991. The school is located in Palm Beach Gardens.”There have been other schools around us, much newer schools, that have had their media centers completely overhauled with incredible technology and all kinds of college and career resources and maker spaces and all of these things that have shown a tremendous impact on student achievement,” said Julie Littky-Rubin, the co-founder of the “We Are Dwyer” Foundation.
