Visitors to the Huntingdon County Library can now “check out” veggies, herbs and flowers thanks to a new resource aimed at both novice and expert growers.
Located within The Studio, the HCL’s maker space, the new seed library is housed in an old card catalogue from Juniata College. Seeds are filed alphabetically by variety, many with names that could compete with the most suspenseful of book titles: “Dark Galaxy” tomatoes and “Death Spiral” peppers.
