Camp Guide 2021: From math to skiing, there is plenty for kids to do in Hays County this summer

Whether their kids are looking to spend some time outdoors, hone their athletic skills or study up over the break, parents searching for summer camps have a variety to choose from in the San Marcos, Buda and Kyle area. This list is not comprehensive and details are subject to change.

Aquatic Science Adventure Camp Campers engage in a mix of outdoor and indoor aquatic recreation with hands-on science activities, all to foster a personal connection to aquatic resources. Children will paddleboard down the San Marcos River, use research-grade equipment to measure water chemistry and much more. Camps are limited to 10 individuals this year, and a number of safety precautions will be in place to minimize COVID-19 risks. CCamp will last from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Day Academics

Dates: June 8-Aug. 10

Cost: $30 (residents), $60 per day (non-residents)

Ages: 9-15
