AVON, Ohio — No one can say that Avon Branch Library and Lorain Public Library System officials have not been diligent as they plan for the Avon library’s expansion.
Over the past year, numerous presentations have been made, the public has been invited to participate in the process and every option has been thoroughly discussed. Kudos to everyone involved. It’s a big undertaking.
Back in November, a Town Hall was led by Jason Nolde, project manager with GPD Group, the firm hired by library officials to work on the project. Nolde brings a wealth of knowledge to the project, with more than 20 years of experience designing for public buildings. He also serves on the Board of Trustees at Westlake Porter Public Library.
