Alberni Valley Makerspace earns Ecostar award for new initiatives

Alberni Valley Makerspace has been named an Ecostar Award winner in the Waste to Resource category.
This award celebrates an organization that has diverted waste from the landfill by turning waste into a value-added material for new products. The awards were hosted Nov. 17 in Victoria by Synergy Foundation.
Alberni Valley Makerspace is a non-profit providing equitable access to tools, resources, and knowledge across central Vancouver Island.
