The Westlake Porter Library, 27333 Center Ridge Road in Westlake, is working to bring their lobby area into the future.
The location will have a grand opening for its Makerspace creative area, along with their Book Nook Used Book Store on April 29, according to assistant director CJ Lynce.
“This space used to be a cafe space,” Lynce said of the Makerspace area. “But with the pandemic, the tenant who was in here did not open up shop… We’ve had a soft opening for the past couple weeks to kind of get us (to) work out some of the bugs, and things like that.”
