Tuskegee University’s College of Engineering is one of three recipients to receive a share of $1 million from the Fluor Corporation and the Fluor Foundation Engineering Scholar Program for HBCUs. In partnership with North Carolina A&T University, and Texas’ Prairie View A&M University, Tuskegee University will receive $240,000 over the next three years to support and develop the ‘Makerspace’ facility.
The Makerspace lab will provide students a physical location, equipped with tools and machines, that will allow students to a learning environment that is conducive to academic growth.
