Carlsbad Public Library has some new projects in the works, and your input is needed.
Makerspace design: Currently, there is a quick 5-question survey available at the library to get community feedback for new makerspace offerings. According to library director Sarah Jones, “A makerspace is a collaborative workshop that supplies equipment and technology, such as 3D printers, soldering tools, industrial sewing machines, etc., for creative projects.”
If you want to learn a skill, try a new kind of DIY project, or need access to a piece of equipment that’s out of your price range, please take this opportunity to share your ideas and interests with the library by filling out the survey.
