While the past year has been marked by uncertainty, upheaval and devastating loss, stories of pandemic resilience abound. The Weston Library and its makerspace branch, Weston’s Art and Innovation Center (AIC), offer two inspiring examples of the creative potential inherent in crisis. Throughout the pandemic, they have remained steadfast in their roles as educational and cultural hubs of our town.
Occupying the geographic heart of Weston, the library (nestled among our elementary schools, Recreation Center, Council on Aging and Brook School Apartments) and the AIC (overlooking the Town Green at the corner of School Street and Boston Post Road) are critical components of our community’s infrastructure, serving as public spaces where people and ideas come together.
