Fundraising continues for two outdoor projects next to the Roswell Public Library, the Learn and Play Area as well as Library Park.
Members of the library’s board were provided an update about these two projects during a meeting Thursday. Preliminary designs, which have been described as “semantic representations” of how the locations could look, have been completed.
Learn and Play, which will be the higher-priority project, is projected to require about $300,000 to complete. It will be placed on the north and east sides of the library’s indoor children’s area.
Fundraising to reach the full amount is ongoing. Among ways to boost the amount of money available for the project is the sale of commemorative bricks with personalized messages on them….
