Gambuto’s ‘Team Marco’ plays to Staten Island audiences Saturday

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Boro Five — a new independent film and television content production company — presented a “Staten Island Celebration,” a special virtual event that kicked off the nationwide launch of the new family movie, “Team Marco,” which was released by Samuel Goldwyn Films.

The heartwarming movie was shot entirely on Staten Island.

A story every family can relate to, “Team Marco” was written and directed by Julio Vincent Gambuto and benefited the St. George Theatre’s (where the movie was set to premiere) relief fund, established in the wake of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The event was simulcast on Boro Five’s Facebook page, as well as on the St. George Theatre and Borough Hall’s Facebook and YouTube pages.
