DANBURY – Downtown’s most anticipated residential development is scheduled for completion in spring, although a soft launch has been underway for months at the 149-unit apartment complex on Main Street, where entire floors are already leased.
“People are going to be thrilled when they see it,” said developer Dan Bertram, referring to his latest Danbury project, Brookfield Commons II. “This is going to show people what’s possible in Danbury.”
What passersby will see that isn’t already constructed at the former site of the News-Times headquarters is a second-floor pool overlooking downtown, a terrace atop the six-story structure, and several retail shops with doors that open onto Main Street.
