Beaumont city council held a virtual meeting on June 8, 2021.
Administration reported that the city has been able to move closer to normal operations in recent weeks. With the province moving towards Stage 2 of its reopening plan on June 10, the City of Beaumont will be able to follow the province’s lead on health restrictions and reopen some services.
Administration recommended that Beaumont commuter transit remain shut down until post-secondary classes begin in September 2021. They also recommended council in-person meetings remain virtual, and that City Hall remain closed to the public until…
