Oct. 16 — Unit 20, Oregon Retired Educators Meeting, noon at Cousins Restaurant in The Dalles. All retired school personnel from Hood River, Wasco and Sherman counties are invited. Featuring Kate Drahota from the SMART program and two representatives from the Oregon State University’s College of Education, Rileign Seaton and Sara Wright. Dues, $35, will be collected along with volunteer hours.
