PISCATAWAY, NJ – Doug Baldwin, Piscataway Public Library’s Associate Director, was recently named the New Jersey Library Association’s Librarian of the Year.
“The Librarian of the Year award is a wonderful acknowledgement of Doug’s contributions to the New Jersey Library community,” said Heidi Cramer, Piscataway Public Library’s Director.
“He is generous with his expertise and fosters a culture of learning and collaboration,” said Cramer. “I join the entire Piscataway Public Library staff in congratulating Doug.”
Baldwin’s duties at the Piscataway Public Library include coordinating the MiY Makerspace, where residents can use 3D printers, a Glowforge laser cutter, sewing machines, and other equipment, or take classes ranging from coding to crochet, said library officials.
