Springs Charter Schools’ Palm Academy will move into a new facility in Indio when in-person learning resumes, the school announced. The school is currently operating virtually, with the hope of occupying the new space early in the spring.
The new facility on Avenue 48 will include larger classrooms, an administrative office, space for its KEYS independent study high school department and a warming kitchen for meals for the 85 students, from grades kindergarten through eighth grade and 20 KEYS high school students.
The school had been using a temporary facility for the past seven years. The new facility will accommodate up to 290 students in an open, collaborative environment.
