WESTFIELD, NJ — Westfield families can meet new Superintendent Raymond González at an event next week, and just in case kids find it booooooring, they can also get a free treat from the ice cream truck.
The Westfield Education Fund, a non-profit that aims to be a driver for innovation in the Westfield Public Schools, will host an informal meet-and-greet for González on Sept. 10 from 5 to 6 p.m. Registration is required (see below).
The event will be held outside behind Edison Intermediate School near the main parking lot. All are welcome.
“We are excited to invite the Westfield community to meet and engage with our new district leadership, consistent with our recent efforts to build positive relationships between parents, teachers, administration, and community members,” said Lee Schaefer, WEF’s President.
