U.S. Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va., visited the Academies of Loudoun March 21 to promote his latest effort to expand access to federal aid for students pursuing career and technical education. Kaine called the magnet school, which is comprised of three separate STEM and vocational magnet schools operated by Loudoun County Public Schools, “exhibit A” for what he called a “renaissance” changing attitudes for career and technical education in the United States.
