The silence in this case, really is speaking volumes at the Buffalo and Erie County Central Library. That is, in terms of online access to the library system. Behind the scenes, folks like James Lemb are busy editing the Launch Pad Makerspace’s first online tutorial for 3D printers. 

“They are learning parts of the printer, safety involved of the printer,” Lemb said. 

On the other side of the wall Jordan Smith is testing out his Zoom App to make sure all is smooth for any “Book a Trainer” sessions. Normally those are face-to-face, so they too, are learning a thing or two about online meet ups. 

“Not when I was going to library school, but I am certainly happy the technology is here to keep us connected,” Smith said.
