Three years ago, Dana Ormbrek moved to Virginia from Seattle and brought a huge collection of mid-century modern items to her new home.
She ended up buying a small farm house in Smithfield and needed to find a new place to house her treasures.
“I’m one of those weirdos who wants a good home for my things,” said Ormbrek. “I’ve been around antiques my entire life and spent my childhood at auctions and antique shows with my mom. It’s in my blood.”
Ormbrek decided to open up a vintage business to sell some of her treasured items. Her mom had a few shops, so she thought why not give it a try.
