Staffordshire County Council’s libraries service has been awarded funding worth £265,000 for improvements at Burton library
The funding from the Department for Culture, Media and Support (DCMS), is part of their Libraries Improvement Funding (LIF).
Library staff are now working on the plans, which would see a refresh of the library space, new shelving, multisensory equipment, a maker space and an enhanced digital offer.
Staff will also be getting feedback from customers on their ideas to improve the facilities and anything else they would like to see in the library.
