MATTAPOISETT — From story times to craft days and book clubs, the Mattapoisett Free Public Library has events to keep kids, teens and adults busy in September.
September is library card sign-up month and the Mattapoisett Library invites you to come in and learn about everything a library card can get you, including: books and magazines, online access to e-books and audio books, music streaming and downloads, internet and computer access, and more.
For kids, the library will hold a host of events this month:
On Saturday, Sept. 18, it’s Talk Like a Pirate Day at the library. Drop by between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. for a pirate joke treasure hunt with small prizes and simple crafts. All ages welcome, no registration required.
