Aimed at giving people interested in arts and crafts a space to develop their skills, Makerspace of Greenville has become a resource for upcoming artists to start their career.
Opened in October 2019 by Darby George and his wife Tara, Makerspace is part of a larger brand of businesses operated by arts enthusiasts who want to give people the opportunity to pursue their talents without any serious financial restriction.
The shop, located in 102 Staton Court, is mostly based around woodworking and metalworking and has been utilized by artists in the Greenville area.
According to their website, Makerspace operates on a membership basis, allowing people to purchase subscriptions beginning with an hourly pass.
