COVID-19 has locked up our stages and galleries, for now, but many other venues are still — creatively — meeting our need to play games, make crafts, whack a ball, explore and learn.
Libraries may be closed, but you can still download e-books and movies through their websites for free. Golf courses have opened, including Erskine, Blackthorn and Morris Park in South Bend, Eberhart-Petro in Mishawaka, and Juday Creek in Granger. But wait, it gets more clever than that.
Before you head to the public offerings, don’t go if you feel sick, even to the open-air parks. And if you can, check Facebook pages or call before you go. We checked, and the following resources should be open for a while yet. But you never know.
