Over 100 local teens and young adults attended this year’s “Adulting 101: Life Skills for Teens” event Saturday with the goal of taking up to four workshops aimed at teaching life skills not typically taught in high school.
The 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. event was jointly organized by the Woodland Public Library and the Yolo County Office of Education. It was held at the Woodland Community and Senior Center – located at 2001 East St. – and featured 26 unique life skills classes for teens ranging from job application and interview tips to power yoga.
