ST. CLOUD — Macanon “Mac” Dhein is now weeks away from achieving a years-long dream, and St. Cloud is weeks away from having its own makerspace.

“(I’m) more excited than I’m usually comfortable feeling,” he said.
The planned opening date for Make It Mac’s Makerspace is April 1.
What’s a makerspace? It’s intended to be a space for people to explore, learn and develop skills for a hobby or career, Mac said. And around the country, makerspaces have been a breeding ground for invention and innovation, Mac said.
“All I want to do is facilitate people’s self-improvement,” he said. That’s his formal title at the makerspace: facilitator.
