The winning team will complete a feasibility study exploring options for creating new ‘landmark, ground-breaking facilities’ to host a variety of artistic production activities hosted under the centre’s flagship Creative Voice learning programme for young people.
The project will deliver a ‘vibrant suite of purpose-built spaces’ within the Percy Thomas Partnership and Capita Architecture-designed landmark which was constructed in 2004 on a prominent site formerly earmarked for Zaha Hadid Architects’ competition-winning Cardiff Bay Opera House.
