Two Morgan Count non-profit organizations have been awarded Facebook Community Action Grants.
According to a press release issued by Facebook, the Boys & Girls Club of North Central Georgia received a $35,000 Community Action Grant that will be used to “support technology in clubs to improve STEM access to students who need it most.”
The statement said the grant will “focus on a makerspace classroom, the equipment will inspire youth to engage in STEM to promote a brighter future.”
