
Educators nationwide worry about summer vacation, when kids may forget skills learned during the school year, but the Ossining school district is trying to head that off with its Innovation Academy.
Now in its third year, the Innovation Academy is a free program for the school district’s children going into grades 2-8 that offers them the chance to participate in activities including robotics, photography and circuit kits designed for children to learn the basics of electrical engineering.
