NEW WASHINGTON – Superintendent Mark Robinson uses two phrases to describe Buckeye Central Local Schools‘ new STEAM lab and conference center: “student-centered” and “professional.”
But when he greeted a visitor to the 7,000-square-foot addition on the north end of the district’s building, he used a different word.
“Isn’t this gorgeous?” he said, standing in the new reception area.
Executive Administrative Assistant Deb Briggs will greet visitors to administrative offices from behind a long counter, with plenty of workspace and storage. Behind her, the wall will feature a montage of photos highlighting student achievements. Circular overhead lights and plenty of windows make the room bright, but the huge, backlit “BC” sign on the far wall commands attention.
